Review for Profile Design T4+ Carbon Aerobar

Unlike how many create base bars and extensions as a one-piece-deal, Profile Design has an option for those who need to customize their time trial position. So, whether you use one of Profile’s base bars for a complete setup, or you just need to use your drop bars as a base, the T4+ Carbon Clip-On TT Bars will fit the bill. Profile Design’s T4 Carbon Clip-on TT bars feature a traditional ski-bend shape with a rather shallow angle between the extension and the shifters. To customize the fit, the bars include Profile Design’s J4 bracket. With this bracket, the armrests are set back 20mm from the center of the base bar, and they’re reversible for a more forward armrest position. It’s compatible with aftermarket risers in order to elevate the armrest, while also maintaining the desired wrist angle. Even better, these bars aren’t difficult to adjust — it’s all done with a single bolt. In terms of comfort, the T4 bars are finished with Profile’s F-35 armrests. These are adjustable for width and reach, meaning that you’re able to place them exactly where you need them. The Profile Design T4 Plus Carbon Clip-on TT Bars are compatible with both 31. 8mm and 26. 0mm bars (with included shim). They’re available in one size and in the color Black. Also, the complete rig tips the scales around 600 grams.
