Review for Look Keo Classic 2 Bike Pedals

The new Keo Classic 2 represents the latest in Look’s family of road pedals, borrowing many of the same technical features as its pricier siblings, but in a more value-driven package. It’s a system both entry-level riders and more seasoned cyclists alike will appreciate, as the proven Look reliability is ever-present, along with a blend of new materials designed to make the clipless system as seamless and user-friendly as possible. Perhaps the biggest improvement to the Classic pedals comes in the form of the new supporting surface — commonly referred to as the “wear plate” or contact area in Look’s other pedals. This is the area of the pedal where the interface between the cleat and the pedal occurs, and it’s also the place where riders receive direct feedbeek and feel from their pedaling platform. Because of this, Look decided to apply a new dimpled composite material to this area, which delivers a consistent entry and exit, as well as added pedaling stability due to its large surface. Look also targeted the new Classic pedal’s axle. The diameter was increased to 12mm for increased stiffness. Additionally, Look kept the stack height to a low 17. 5mm, which necessitated a roller bearing and a needle bearing on each of the pedal’s durable steel spindles. In case there were any questions as to the reliability of this system, Look spindles are approved only after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90kg on the center of the pedal. Similar to the proven Keo 2 Max pedals, the Classic 2s feature wide bodies made from a durable polyamide composite. The Q-Factor is 53mm, and it’s able to be increased to 55mm with the use of a 2mm spacer that goes between the spindle and the crank (sold separately). The release tension is also able to be adjusted from 8-12Nm, which ensures smooth entry and release throughout the range. Same technical features as the Keo Classic with an all new design Larger contact surface area for improved pedaling stability Bi-compound composite body pedal with chromoly spindle Includes Keo Grip cleat

Buy Profile Design Sonic Ergo 50a Aerobar – 2019 – Review

Profile Design Sonic Ergo 50a Aerobar - 2019 price

Review for Profile Design Sonic Ergo 50a Aerobar – 2019

The Sonic/Ergo is designed to present minimal frontal area to create as little aerodynamic drag as possible. The main purpose of an aerobar is, of course, to get the rider into a fast position despite a fairly minimalist appearance the Sonic/Ergo offers a comprehensive fit range for exactly this purpose. Armrest Offset: -70mm to -2.5mm in 7.5mm steps Armrest Width: 124mm to 290mm in 18.5mm steps Armrest Stack: 60mm to 70mm in 5mm increments. The extension length and rotation can be easily adjusted using the top bolt. There are 100 distinct position options achievable just by moving the armrests. Combine that with the risers and this bar offers 1500 possible configurations. As a clip on bar it is also possible to adjust the extension width and tilt easily. This is the most adjustable clip on bar on the market (and in history). It is worth noting that our previous top level clip on aerobar, the J4/F35, offered 90 possible configurations. This highlights the significant step forward we’ve made with our new generation aerobars in allowing riders to precisely adjust their position. After we released the Supersonic (J5) as a premium bracket with market leading fit options and versatility we wanted to bring the same kind of options to the rest of our range of brackets and thus aerobars. By simplifying the extension clamp and shifting the wing forward to the bar centreline we were able to meet our targets. As a consequence of the simplification the Sonic is the lightest of our current brackets. The Ergo armrest shares the flippable design of the rest of our new generation armrests. By swapping sides or rotating the armrests smaller increments of movement are achieved making it simple to fine tune a riders position or match the position from their previous aerobar or bike. The 50a extensions offer a 50deg ski bend shape. They also have a 7.5mm lateral shift per side (15mm total) to allow fine tuning of the grip width. They are 400mm long to allow a wide range of riders to fit. The cable routing is designed to exit from the rear of the extension.

Review for DEMO: HED H3 650c Alloy Rear Wheel (Tubular)

This disc contains minimal scratches and chips.Anyone looking for the fastest wheel against the clock with minimum handling drawbacks can stop right here. The advanced design of the H3 mates three 70mm aerofoil shaped spokes with a rim depth of 53mm. This hard carbon structure is then bonded onto an extruded aluminium alloy rim. The result of this configuration provides the twin benefits of exceptional rigidity and superior aerodynamic performance. In fact, tests reveal the H3 reduces drag by up to 49% when compared with a conventionally spoked race wheel. Which leaves you to expend significantly less energy maintaining the same speed. Or, depending on how good your legs feel on the day, go significantly faster for the same input. Attractive thought, isn’t it?
